    • Build and sustain partnerships with professionals around the region to maximize human capital and influence the effectiveness and sustainability of their organizations and communities.
    • Provide a community for human resource professionals to share expertise and build upon HR competencies in a creative and innovative environment.

    Vision

SHRMTC will be the recognized leader on Human Resources in Tompkins County.

The Society for Human Resource Management of Tompkins County (SHRMTC) is a non-profit, individual membership association for human resource management professionals. The local chapter meets once monthly, providing a forum, through breakfast meetings and presentations, where Human Resource representatives can network with one another to enhance professional growth and career development. Supervisors and managers as well as Human Resource professionals will find our monthly meeting topics timely and helpful. Our programs are open to members and non-members, with a nominal fee charged to non-members.

SHRMTC currently has over 125 members made up of Human Resource professionals representing a diverse group of businesses from Ithaca and its surrounding areas: large, small, non-profit, public and private, manufacturing, food service, human service and education amongst others.

Affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), your local chapter membership offers you a range of services and programs that can broaden your skills and enhance your professional development.

Members of the board of SHRMTC can answer questions regarding our growing association. Please call or E-mail any member of the board for further information.
